Welcome to a three part series that’s going to run on the blog this month called “Making it Easier”. We’re going to kick off by starting with the first meal of the day…dun dun dun….breakfast! Breakfast can be a struggle. Toast, rice bubbles or coffee and heading out the door are all quick and easy options. But unfortunately none of these will fill you up or keep you going for very long.

Hi! It’s been so long since i’ve written a blog post….in fact it’s been since May! Which doesn’t sound like very long ago, but seeing as we’re now in October it kinda is! I’ve got a whole heap of awesome and useful content coming your way for the remainder of this year so stay tuned! I thought i’d kick back off into the blogging arena with a goodie…. It can be easy to get caught up in the idea of wanting more. I’m going to be completely honest here and say that i’m wanting more out of life at the moment, but i’m not sure what. I’m feeling unfulfilled, but I’m not sure why. I want a way to be more creative, but can’t seem to find the time. So i’ve decided to stop.
I’ve been trying to add more fish into our diet because it’s just so darn good for you! It’s full of protein and a really good source of omega 3 fatty acids which are important for our body and brain. Callum loves Blue Cod and refuses to eat cheaper varieties of fish. I used to buy Red Cod (it’s much cheaper) but he would ALWAYS know the difference! So i’ve given up trying to trick him and just splash out on Blue Cod once a week.
This satay chicken recipe can be used on chicken drumsticks, breast or thighs. I love to have it with roasted sweet potato mash and steamed broccoli.
I’m well aware that we’re over half way through January 2016…..but here’s a little recap of 2015. It started off with a bang, cruised for awhile and then finished in the BEST possible way.
Here’s my wrap up of the year that was.
