Hello lovely ladyand welcome!I’m Sarah, a certified health and wellness coach or as I prefer to call it, a health and happiness coach. I coach gorgeous young woman out of ruts, through stuckness and into lives that are bursting with health and bubbling with happiness.

Why do I do what I do?

1Because I truly believe in you. I understand how tiring it can be to constantly look in the mirror and not like what you see. I understanding the want, no the need for something more out of life, and I believe in your potential to get it. Your life experiences up until this point have lead you here. To this moment. And this is the moment when you say yes to creating the life you want!

I believe you deserve to be gloriously, fist-pumping, wide smiling happy! 

Want to know how you’re going to get this wonderful life?

You’re going to start. You’re going to commit. You’re going to say “yes freaking please. I’m ready”! That’s the first step. Boom, done! The next steps will depend on your personal goals. But let me tell you a little secret. No matter what your goals are, there are three keys to helping you get there:

Self love. Once you love what you see in the mirror (note: don’t worry about that teenie, tiny number on the scale), everything falls into place. I can’t express this enough. Loving your body, your mind, your whole being is one of the most liberating feelings ever.
Mindset. You are in control of how you feel at every point in the day. Sure we can’t control all the circumstances in our life. But we can control how we react to them. Having a positive mindset will make you a happier person. I promise.
Nourishment. Nourishing your body with whole foods has the power to transform you. If you want to improve your mood and energy levels, have clear skin, long hair and strong nails, then changing your diet is the best place to start.
Important note. Nourishment doesn’t just mean eating whole foods. If you want to truly nourish your body and feel a true sense of wellbeing then you need to nourish all areas of your life – your relationships, career, creativeness, physical activity and spirituality.

How did I get here?

A few years ago one of my closest friends started down the “health and wellness” track. She had been on and off sick for quite some time and decided something needed to change. As she changed and learnt new things, so did I.  We were constantly texting, Facebooking and talking about the exciting things we had discovered from coconut oil and almond milk to awesome new blogs to follow. Slowly but surely we changed from party loving, vodka drinking, takeaway guzzling girls to clean eating, self loving, moving ya body kinda ladies. 

In 2014 I decided to take it a step further and signed up with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a health coach. When I think back to it, this step had been on the horizon for quite a while. Let me explain. Four years ago I felt like I needed a change from primary school teaching. One evening I was racking my brains as to what I could do when I stumbled across life coaching. I signed up to a whole heap of websites and started to get really interested in the idea. But then plans changed. Living in London and traveling for a year took over my life and the idea of life coaching was put to the back of my mind. Fast forward two years and I was still getting weekly emails from coaching schools. These were like gentle reminders that one dream (helping people create lives they love) had been put on hold for another dream (traveling the world and living life to its fullest). And I was totally ok with this. Sometimes we aren’t always ready for the big stuff. It has to sit and manifest a bit longer. Space needs to be created. And this was the case for me and coaching. I still needed to go out into the world and explore. Once my traveling was done, dusted and throughly enjoyed then I felt like it was time to commit to coaching. The space had been created and here I am!

+ I live in little old Dunedin, New Zealand.

+ I have a hypo golden lab called Taz.

+ Nectarines are my all time favourite fruit. 

+ I am becoming slightly addicted to social media which I’m not happy about!

I lived on a yacht with my family for two years when I was a kid.

I have two younger brothers who I love to bits.

My parents are crazy adventurers. Example 1) They took their three young kids to live on a yacht for two years and sailed around the South Pacific. Example 2) They motorbiked around South America recently – crazy inspiring 🙂

I love to travel. It makes me feel excited, alive and so grateful for life.

I am a qualified primary school teacher.

I love reading, hugs, fresh air, the beach and chick flicks.

I totally enjoyed reading 50 Shades of Grey.

I have a slight obsession with stationary, cook books and cushions.
